About Bright Minds
Many learning and behaviour challenges are connected to executive functioning skills that influence planning, organisation, attention, emotional regulation and everyday participation.
Bright Minds was created to support children experiencing disability-related functional challenges by building confidence, independence and participation across home, school and community environments.
Through individualised, relationship-based supports, Bright Minds helps children build the functional skills needed for confidence, independence and participation across everyday environments.
OUR APPROACH
At Bright Minds, every support begins with understanding the child—not simply their diagnosis.
We take the time to build trusting relationships, identify strengths, understand functional challenges and work collaboratively with families and other professionals.
Supports are individualised, evidence-informed and designed to build meaningful functional skills that increase confidence, independence and participation across everyday environments.
Activities are selected because they develop functional capacity—not because they simply entertain or occupy a child.
"Supporting children who experience the world differently"
Chantel Parsons is an experienced educator dedicated to helping children and young people develop the functional skills they need to participate more confidently in everyday life.
𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹
With over 20 years of experience supporting children with diverse learning, developmental, behavioural and emotional needs, Chantel believes meaningful progress begins with understanding the child not simply their diagnosis.
Her approach combines extensive knowledge of child development, executive functioning, emotional regulation and learning with practical, evidence-informed strategies that help children develop meaningful functional skills for everyday life.
Building trusting relationships is central to every support she provides. Chantel takes time to understand each child’s strengths, interests, communication style and individual needs before introducing supports designed to increase confidence, independence and participation across home, school and community environments.
Rather than focusing solely on academic achievement, Chantel believes success is measured by how well a child applies new skills in everyday life.
Because every child deserves the chance to succeed.

At Bright Minds, we provide individualised NDIS supports that help children and young people develop the functional skills they need to participate more confidently in everyday life.
Every child is unique. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, we take time to understand each participant’s strengths, interests, functional challenges and personal goals before developing an individualised support plan.
Our supports are relationship-based, strengths-focused and designed to improve participation, confidence and independence across home, school and community environments.
We believe meaningful progress begins with understanding the child—not simply their diagnosis.

Our Relationship-Based Approach
Children develop best when they feel safe, understood and connected.
Building trusting relationships is central to every support we provide.
We take time to understand each child’s communication style, sensory preferences, interests and individual strengths before gradually introducing new challenges that promote growth.
Children are far more likely to develop new skills when they feel emotionally safe, enjoy attending sessions and feel genuinely understood.
This relationship-first approach supports greater engagement, confidence, emotional regulation and long-term functional outcomes.
